Founding TrojAI.
TrojAI was founded in 2020 by James Stewart and Stephen Goddard to protect against adversarial attacks on AI/ML. As more organizations deployed AI-enabled applications, James and Stephen saw the threats and risks to these systems increasing. Protecting against these new and expanding attack surfaces required a new security platform.
The TrojAI platform was created to secure AI models and applications both at build time and run time in some of the most complex enterprise environments. At build time, TrojAI automatically red teams AI models to safeguard model behavior. At runtime, the TrojAI firewall protects enterprises from threats and active attacks in real time. TrojAI is focused on mitigating the risks and threats to AI models and applications to drive secure enterprise AI innovation.
